Description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Contribute to system and application architecture discussions to support scalable and maintainable design decisions.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs with security, performance, and reliability in mind.
  • Write performant C# and SQL code to support enterprise-scale workloads.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver features end to end.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and help uphold shared coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems in production environments.
  • Support deployments, monitoring, and operational improvements as part of continuous delivery.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing, and mentor junior engineers when appropriate.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience developing web applications using C# and .NET.
  • 3+ years of experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL and writing efficient SQL.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and common design patterns.
  • Experience building enterprise or SaaS applications with attention to performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as Angular or React.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable full-stack code.
  • Experience working in an engineering environment that values Git-based source control, code reviews, unit and integration testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban in short sprint cycles.
  • Proactive, self-starting, and ownership-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfort working with globally distributed teams across time zones.
  • Preferred experience with ORM or data access frameworks such as Entity Framework, Dapper, or NHibernate.
  • Preferred practical experience with unit testing and exposure to TDD or BDD practices.
  • Preferred experience with service-oriented or microservices architectures.
  • Preferred familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Preferred exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and production monitoring.
  • Preferred experience with containerized systems such as Docker or Kubernetes.
