Description

  • Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise technology solutions across on-premise, cloud, security, application, and collaboration environments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide Tier 3/4 support, advanced troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for complex technical issues.
  • Lead technical deployments, upgrades, integrations, migrations, and hybrid platform transitions with minimal disruption.
  • Develop and enforce technical standards, configurations, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to system architecture, technology roadmaps, lifecycle planning, and evaluation of emerging technologies.
  • Architect, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID/Azure AD, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Lead Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant consolidations, major upgrades, and escalations related to security, availability, or compliance.
  • Implement security controls, participate in vulnerability remediation and incident response, and support audit readiness and compliance execution.
  • Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into technical controls, operational processes, and documented evidence.
  • Partner with business units, vendors, IT leadership, security, legal, and compliance teams to gather requirements and resolve risks and findings.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Mentor junior engineers and specialists and contribute to automation and process optimization efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT environments.
  • Advanced experience in one or more of the following: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365/identity platforms, infrastructure, networking and security technologies, or enterprise applications and integrations.
  • Experience architecting, implementing, and managing Microsoft 365 services and governance frameworks.
  • Experience with regulated or government-contracted environments is preferred.
  • Experience with NIST SP 800-53 / 800-171, FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, or similar cybersecurity requirements is preferred.
  • Experience with automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-platform technical issues.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution.
