Description

  • Book air, car, and hotel accommodations for contracted government agencies.
  • Ensure domestic and international travel bookings comply with government travel regulations.
  • Maintain and monitor all work queues throughout the day.
  • Process cancellations and reservation changes through completion, including notifying client agencies promptly.
  • Provide regular updates to client agencies on travel status and related information.
  • Research travel industry changes, trends, and offerings to inform agency recommendations.
  • Deliver professional, timely, and accurate customer service while recommending value-added services.
  • Attend one week of in-person orientation in Virginia Beach, VA and work weekend shifts as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with some post-high school education.
  • Travel industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of WorldSpan and SABRE GDS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Proactive approach to systems and processes.
  • Positive attitude.
  • No prior government travel experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Willingness to complete one week of in-person orientation in Virginia Beach, VA.
  • Weekend availability required.
