Description

  • Write, test, debug, document, and deploy new and modified GDS scripts and code.
  • Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional statements of work.
  • Respond to internal and external client inquiries, diagnose issues, and develop timely solutions.
  • Recommend optimizations to automation features, operational processes, and system capabilities to improve standardization and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain workflow process maps for all scripting, including future phases and under review.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
  • Monitor processes for performance and respond to errors and emergency issues.
  • Provide first-level support for travel technology systems, including GDS password resets, mid-office support, and list updates.
  • Prepare documentation, lead or join meetings, and deliver progress reports to leadership.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Worldspan and Travelport Plus.
  • Programming skills on platforms that integrate with multiple GDS systems are preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and complete deliverables on time with a high level of quality.
  • Self-starter with the initiative to identify opportunities proactively.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
  • Travel knowledge is required.
  • Ability to travel for projects or team meetings.
  • Must comply with all corporate policies.
