Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for enterprise and mid-market accounts across Asia.
  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities with banks, merchant acquirers, remittance providers, cross-border PSPs, neobanks, crypto exchanges, and other financial services firms.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline using a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving CFOs, CTOs, compliance teams, and business leaders.
  • Structure deals and negotiate contracts that balance customer needs with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to tailor solutions for regional requirements.
  • Serve as the face of Checker in Asia at conferences, fintech events, and client meetings.
  • Develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy aligned with local market dynamics and regulatory environments.
  • Build strategic partnerships with payment processors, banking partners, and industry associations.
  • Generate market intelligence on competitors, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
  • Create case studies and success stories for the Asian market and contribute to webinars, thought leadership, and regional campaigns.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fintech, payments, or SaaS, with a track record of consistently exceeding quota.
  • Deep understanding of Asian financial services and payments across multiple countries, with existing networks in at least two core markets.
  • Proven ability to source, develop, and close six-figure enterprise deals.
  • Experience navigating regulatory environments and working with compliance teams in financial services.
  • Fluent English required.
  • Comfortable with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital asset payments, with curiosity to learn more.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to articulate ROI and build compelling business cases.
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel 30–40% across Asia and occasionally to international offices.
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers at target accounts is highly valued.
  • Experience selling into trading, treasury, finance, or operations teams is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of cross-border payments challenges, including FX volatility, settlement timelines, payment methods, regulatory controls, and transaction costs is highly valued.
  • Understanding of Asian regulatory frameworks for crypto and digital payments is highly valued.
  • Experience building a territory from scratch or launching products in new markets is highly valued.
  • Experience recruiting, building, and scaling multi-functional regional teams is highly valued.
  • Hunter mentality with strong entrepreneurial drive and resilience.
  • High cultural intelligence and ability to adapt across diverse Asian markets.
  • Consultative sales approach focused on customer pain points.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution ability.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration.
