Description

  • Lead Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), AI Impact Assessments, and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs) across products and business initiatives.
  • Own the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
  • Review Data Processing Agreements, vendor contracts, and data-sharing arrangements for privacy and AI risks.
  • Operationalize privacy-by-design and responsible AI principles within product and engineering workflows.
  • Partner with product, engineering, legal, security, and data teams to identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain scalable processes, templates, and tooling to streamline PrivacyOps and AI compliance work.
  • Support third-party risk assessments and vendor onboarding from a privacy and AI governance perspective.
  • Monitor regulatory developments such as GDPR and the EU AI Act and translate them into operational controls and procedures.
  • Track, report, and communicate privacy and AI risk metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of PrivacyOps and Responsible AI practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, or AI governance with a strong operational focus.
  • CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, or an equivalent privacy certification.
  • Deep understanding of GDPR, privacy frameworks, and emerging AI regulations such as the EU AI Act.
  • Hands-on experience conducting DPIAs, LIAs, and vendor/privacy risk assessments.
  • Experience maintaining Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
  • Experience reviewing Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and data-sharing agreements.
  • Familiarity with PrivacyOps tools and workflow automation platforms such as OneTrust, TrustArc, and BigID.
  • Understanding of data lifecycle, data flows, and system architecture concepts.
  • Experience working with AI/ML systems or AI governance frameworks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of privacy-by-design and responsible AI principles.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders such as Legal, Product, Engineering, Security, and Data Science is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assessments and operational workflows simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify gaps in privacy and AI governance and recommend scalable operational solutions.
