Description

  • Own and maintain the live operations calendar, including seasonal events, tools, and community engagement rhythms.
  • Analyze community event performance and identify friction points to improve player engagement.
  • Write highly technical product and engineering specifications for platform requirements and live service systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and analytics to shape robust, scalable solutions rather than short-term fixes.
  • Design and oversee the evolution of competitive systems, including skill-based play and ranked matchmaking infrastructure.
  • Work with global publishing partners and internal stakeholders to align priorities and execute the roadmap effectively.
  • Translate complex platform needs into actionable plans for cross-functional teams.
  • Advise leadership on market trends and strategic changes needed to stay competitive.
  • Build operational structures, processes, and technical tools in a fast-paced environment.
  • Re-engineer existing systems to be larger, more robust, and more automated as the product scales.

Requirements

  • Highly technical with the ability to write detailed specifications for engineering and understand platform architecture deeply.
  • Proven experience running multiple cycles in the AAA or indie gaming industry.
  • Track record of managing and scaling live service content cycles.
  • Strong product judgment and design taste with the ability to determine which competitive features to build next.
  • Experience navigating demanding stakeholders across engineering, analytics, and leadership.
  • Experience building operational structures, rhythms, and technical tools from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with major international gaming markets and global product cycles is preferred.
  • Background in fast-moving, large-scale digital products or consumer-facing platforms is preferred.
  • History of scaling existing systems into larger, more robust, and more automated platforms is preferred.
