Description

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop and deliver end-to-end features across the stack.
  • Lead technical design discussions and make architectural decisions for new features and systems.
  • Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance and provide feedback during code reviews.
  • Establish ownership of components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
  • Work on a variety of projects involving large data and the full software engineering lifecycle.
  • Collaborate effectively with distributed and offshore team members across multiple time zones.
  • Build relationships and foster team cohesion across geographical and cultural boundaries.
  • Drive adoption of current technologies, usability best practices, and pragmatic problem solving.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior developers.
  • Expert proficiency with Python and Django.
  • Strong proficiency with ReactJS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, web infrastructure, and tooling for automated testing and deployment.
  • In-depth experience with cloud-based services (AWS).
  • Experience with Postgres, OpenSearch, and Redis.
  • Experience with distributed data technologies such as RabbitMQ and Celery.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person collaboration, meetings, or trainings; US-based role and remote status may change.
