Description

  • Own features end-to-end from design and implementation through rollout and iteration in partnership with Product and the Experience team.
  • Navigate ambiguous problems and take initiative to define a path forward without waiting for complete specifications.
  • Help shape and execute a product-driven roadmap by prioritizing tradeoffs and shipping iteratively against deadlines.
  • Extend Chainguard's agentic AI foundation into customer-facing product experiences across the product suite.
  • Contribute technical guidance on architectural decisions and work collaboratively with the team to reach solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and customers to launch new features.
  • Promote a culture of excellence within a small, fast-moving team.
  • Work on new products including Guardener, hardened GitHub Actions, and Chainguard Agent Skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of software development experience.
  • Expertise with containers, artifact registries, Docker, Kubernetes, and the broader Kubernetes ecosystem.
  • Experience building and securing CI/CD systems.
  • Proficiency with Go (Golang), or strong readiness to ramp up quickly.
  • Experience with AI tooling and enthusiasm for applying it to complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and seek help proactively when needed.
  • Experience working closely with Product teams and customers to ship features is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $205,000 to $231,000 USD.
