Description

  • Own the architecture and technical direction for .NET ecosystem infrastructure.
  • Design and maintain automated workflows for building, updating, validating, and publishing .NET NuGet artifacts.
  • Build internal developer tools such as MSBuild tasks, NuGet tooling, CLIs, and code generators.
  • Integrate with MSBuild, NuGet, and artifact repositories to solve dependency and version-resolution issues.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to shape the .NET libraries roadmap and business outcomes.
  • Mentor and unblock engineers through design reviews, documentation, and hands-on debugging.
  • Partner with Platform, Delivery, Sustaining, and Security teams to meet reliability and security expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the .NET ecosystem on build systems, packaging, or developer tooling.
  • Proven experience building and owning MSBuild extensions, NuGet tooling, CI/CD automation, or internal tools for .NET libraries or services.
  • Deep familiarity with MSBuild and NuGet for multi-project builds, dependency graphs, and publishing to registries.
  • Strong experience with large codebases or mono-repos and resolving dependency and build failures in production.
  • Proficiency in Go for build orchestration tooling, CLIs, and automation.
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Experience debugging toolchain, compiler, and packaging issues at scale.
  • Experience with containers (Docker/OCI, Kubernetes), public cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure), and modern CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, Argo, or Tekton.
  • Background in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
  • Excellent communication in a remote, distributed environment and comfort working across product, infra, and security.
  • Senior-level ownership mindset with ability to define direction and own critical outcomes.
  • Systems thinking mindset with ability to direct, review, and validate software outcomes end to end.
  • Open source contributions in the .NET ecosystem, or experience building and distributing widely used libraries, SDKs, or runtimes (preferred).
  • Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts such as SLSA, SBOMs, sigstore, provenance, and attestations (preferred).
  • Exposure to Linux distribution and packaging ecosystems or reproducible build systems such as Alpine, Wolfi, Debian, Bazel, or Nix (preferred).
