Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline, and Amazon Kinesis.
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for product teams using AWS CloudFormation or CDK.
  • Develop and maintain data storage solutions across AWS services including Amazon S3, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, and other managed databases.
  • Design and manage code pipelines that build application components, run automated tests, execute static code analysis, and gate commits or merges based on quality thresholds.
  • Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure resources to support organizational and product-specific needs.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and centralized application instrumentation for real-time insights and troubleshooting.
  • Optimize ETL workflows to move data efficiently across diverse sources and destinations.
  • Set up and manage AWS IAM policies, roles, and security configurations to protect access and data.
  • Create documentation and provide training for AWS-based data solutions to support knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate across product teams to provide expertise in data integration, modeling, and analytics across all products.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of applicable experience in data engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to pass stringent background investigations.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Travel expectation of 0%.
  • Ability to work extended hours sporadically as needed.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with AWS security best practices and standards such as OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25, and CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark (preferred).
