Description

  • Own the AI platform end to end, including architecture, delivery, operations, cost, quality, and on-call support.
  • Design, build, and operate LLM services, retrieval pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, execution runtimes, and human-in-the-loop systems.
  • Build agent memory infrastructure, LLMOps pipelines, evaluation systems, telemetry, compliance controls, and guardrails.
  • Maintain agent definition management APIs and tool registry definitions as models and tools evolve.
  • Create architectures, prototypes, RFCs, and design proposals aligned with business needs and long-term platform strategy.
  • Lead initiatives through the full SDLC, improve CI/CD and development practices, and resolve persistent production issues.
  • Drive reliability, observability, monitoring, incident response, documentation, and post-incident improvements.
  • Represent the team in cross-functional technical discussions and mentor developers through design reviews and AI-assisted development practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and third-party LLMOps platforms, making informed build-versus-buy decisions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building and operating production AI systems, including latency, cost, accuracy, and reliability trade-offs.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with impact beyond a single team.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with agent frameworks, agent memory systems, or tool-using AI orchestration.
  • Production AWS experience and Infrastructure as Code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
  • Experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native SaaS or multi-tenant platforms at scale, ideally on AWS.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and code quality advocacy.
  • Experience with agentic-AI development, HTTP APIs such as REST or GraphQL, mentoring, and cross-team architectural influence.
  • Familiarity with Python, Bash, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS services, and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or New Relic.
  • Preferred: experience with AI governance, ISO 42001, AIUC-1, NIST AI RMF, RAG, embeddings, hybrid search, LLMOps, regulated systems, or accounting and auditing workflows.
