Description

  • Define and evolve the design system roadmap, including Angular architecture, design tokens, theming, documentation, packaging, and adoption patterns.
  • Build, test, document, and maintain reusable, accessible Angular components with clear APIs and reliable integration patterns.
  • Design and support module federation patterns for Angular applications.
  • Create architectures, prototypes, RFCs, and technical proposals aligned with product and platform strategy.
  • Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, design discussions, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, developers, accessibility stakeholders, architects, and engineering leaders to resolve trade-offs and align solutions.
  • Create implementation guidance, migration notes, usage examples, and workshops to support design system adoption.
  • Review front-end implementations and advise on accessibility, component reuse, API design, styling architecture, and maintainable Angular patterns.
  • Mentor developers, improve engineering maturity, and promote responsible AI-assisted development practices.
  • Evaluate emerging front-end, accessibility, design system, and component development practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience, including significant front-end experience with enterprise-scale web applications.
  • Expert-level Angular proficiency, including component architecture, dependency management, routing, build tooling, performance, and application structure.
  • Experience building, maintaining, or significantly evolving a reusable component library or enterprise design system.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and modern front-end architecture patterns.
  • Experience with design tokens, theming, scalable styling, component API design, documentation, and design-to-code workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular module federation and scalable front-end integration patterns.
  • Strong WCAG accessibility knowledge and experience implementing semantic HTML, ARIA, keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen-reader-friendly interactions.
  • Experience with Storybook or similar component development, testing, and documentation tools.
  • Knowledge of Nx, npm package workflows, component packaging, versioning, and reusable library distribution practices.
  • Strong communication, mentoring, software fundamentals, and cross-team technical influence; English proficiency at C1 level. A Computer Science or Software Engineering degree, equivalent practical experience, agentic-AI development experience, and CDN knowledge are preferred.
