Description

  • Represent the SDET team and partner closely with product teams to embed quality throughout development.
  • Contribute to the Central Quality Engineering function and the broader quality strategy across the platform.
  • Improve the test pyramid by shifting validation toward lower-level testing to increase reliability.
  • Enhance CI/CD and developer workflows through better automation, infrastructure, and reporting.
  • Improve E2E test stability, speed, test data setup, isolation, and execution reliability.
  • Reduce flaky tests and noisy signals while shortening feedback loops and increasing developer confidence.
  • Support functional testing from idea through delivery and help the team complete roadmap items on time.
  • Participate in all testing phases, including work with AI test harnesses and agentic testing capabilities.
  • Track and use quality KPIs and DORA metrics to guide improvements in automation and infrastructure.
  • Promote a quality-first, cross-functional culture across design, planning, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and incident reviews.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within modern SaaS or platform organizations in cloud-native environments.
  • Experience working in AWS-based environments.
  • Experience with scalable automated testing infrastructure and modern CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Workflows.
  • Knowledge of testing strategies across the pyramid, from unit to E2E, including API contract and integration testing.
  • Experience with Cypress, Pact, and K6.
  • Solid front-end knowledge with HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and practices for improving test signal and feedback loops.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence engineering and product stakeholders.
  • Experience leading testing initiatives for distributed teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience integrating QA tools like Zephyr Scale and on-prem CI/CD systems like GitHub.
  • Interest in AI-powered testing tools such as CoPilot, Devin, and Claude is a bonus.
