Description

  • Own, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve production automations, configurations, integrations, and vendor processes.
  • Diagnose and restore failed jobs using logs, code, database activity, schedules, files, and downstream dependencies.
  • Plan safe restarts and reruns by validating data completeness, duplication, reconciliation, and downstream outcomes.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Python and PostgreSQL workflows for ETL, batch, API, reporting, document processing, and file transfers.
  • Operate and troubleshoot Jenkins pipelines, Docker containers, AWS services, Git/GitHub workflows, and environment configurations.
  • Translate servicing business rules, controls, and acceptance criteria into technical changes and support LoanServ.
  • Triage incidents, tickets, support messages, vendor communications, and planned work based on business impact.
  • Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and next steps to business users, vendors, and technology teams.
  • Maintain requirements, test evidence, runbooks, recovery procedures, and troubleshooting notes.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and respond to time-sensitive production issues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience supporting production Python and SQL/PostgreSQL processes.
  • Experience reading, debugging, testing, and safely modifying other developers' code and queries.
  • Experience supporting scheduled ETL, batch, API, database, reporting, or vendor file-transfer processes in production.
  • Production experience with job orchestration or scheduling, Docker or similar containers, Git-based source control, and AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to protect data integrity during database changes and failed-job recovery, including safe reruns and reconciliation.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar processes quickly, manage an interrupt-driven workload, and communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing or another regulated financial operation (preferred).
  • Experience with Sagent/LoanServ, LoanServ scripting, or another loan servicing platform, and traditional mortgage and Chattel loan processes (preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, JavaScript, or HTML (preferred).
  • Experience with document-management platforms, ticketing systems, external servicing vendors, or DevOps pipelines; Jenkins experience preferred.
