Description

  • Run the local Carvana hub and oversee market launch, operations, logistics, consumer branding, team engagement, and ongoing market success.
  • Create strong morale and a positive team environment across the market.
  • Interview, select, onboard, and train Customer Advocates.
  • Provide feedback, conduct performance check-ins, and set goals to improve employee performance and skills.
  • Recognize individual and team accomplishments using organizational tools and creative recognition methods.
  • Generate, monitor, and present regular reports to upper management.
  • Support the team hands-on by helping wash vehicles and delivering cars to customers when needed.
  • Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment while maintaining operational detail and quality.
  • Improve the customer experience and the Advocate team experience.
  • Address and manage complex and sensitive customer-facing issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven experience developing and coaching employees.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and guiding teams to exceed goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity while maintaining focus on the customer experience.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to thrive in a rapidly growing startup environment where roles evolve as the company grows.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Tableau preferred.
  • Analytical mindset preferred.
  • Experience handling logistics preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time, including 8+ hours.
  • Ability to perform frequent movement such as reaching, twisting, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, and squatting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, up to 3 hours while driving.
  • California, Colorado, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin applicants must apply for a Salesperson license within the first two weeks of employment.
