Description

  • Support the facility maintenance request system for all Carvana locations in the assigned portfolio.
  • Manage property maintenance programs and assist with site responsibilities.
  • Serve as a liaison between Carvana employees, external vendors, and landlords.
  • Assist with invoicing, annual maintenance budgeting, and cost tracking.
  • Partner with vendors to ensure services meet contract terms and agreed standards, and escalate poor performance when needed.
  • Provide facilities coverage and after-hours on-call emergency response in partnership with Property Operations Management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve service delivery and efficiency.
  • Onboard vendors at legacy and new locations.
  • Document and streamline team processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support new facilities initiatives and manage cross-functional trade projects in assigned regions.
  • Mentor and assist with onboarding and training of new team members and coordinators.
  • Resolve complex or emergency issues and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in facilities or a business administration role.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally.
  • Strong Google Suite skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships with peers, executive-level management, and external vendors.
  • Exceptional deadline and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to work across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to thrive in a rapidly growing startup environment where roles evolve as the company grows.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Proficiency with business process documentation and improvement preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Docs preferred.
  • Knowledge of issue and project tracking software preferred.
