Description

  • Manage and document vehicle movement through the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
  • Serve as the primary face of Carvana for associates, vendors, and visitors at the site.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, partners, and customers while maintaining active listening and clear dialogue.
  • Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and logistics facility yard and buildings, documenting security and safety concerns.
  • Support emergency response efforts and apply incident response protocols when needed.
  • Assist with badge creation, CCTV review, and other requests in partnership with the Safe and Secure Team Lead and Manager.
  • De-escalate situations and collaborate with partners and team members to resolve issues professionally.
  • Execute facility Safe and Secure Principles for access and exit control at gates.
  • Use the Safe and Secure Application (SAS App) and RFID technology in daily operations.
  • Deliver a service-first experience while supporting inventory control procedures and site safety goals.

Requirements

  • Tues-Sat schedule, 10PM-6:30AM, with open availability highly preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven decision-making ability in a complex environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, RFID, card access, and other Safe and Secure technology preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting an OSHA program or safety team preferred.
  • Experience supporting crisis prevention and/or response plans preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds, including transporting it up to 20 feet.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in conditions that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, or have fumes/odors.
  • Must have excellent visual acuity, manual dexterity, frequent driving ability, and computer data entry capability.
  • Must be able to wear required safety equipment and maintain regular, predictable attendance.
  • Position is safety-sensitive and requires a background check; visa sponsorship is not available.
