Description

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the assigned team and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Train, manage, coach, and mentor team members to support operations and customer experience.
  • Lead site visits with senior leaders and communicate site-level changes to management.
  • Work with leadership to define team objectives and performance goals.
  • Generate, monitor, and present reports to support business needs and upper management decisions.
  • Provide guidance for site-specific areas of responsibility.
  • Recognize team accomplishments and use tools and programs to reinforce performance.
  • Participate in recruiting and communicate with external candidates.
  • Support the development and growth of the team.
  • Manage site operations, consumer outreach, employee development, and a portfolio of non-retail vehicles.
  • Make strategic decisions within the scope of the role.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on vehicle trade intake operations and validation procedures.
  • Resolve complex and sensitive customer-facing issues.
  • Monitor transportation of inbound and outbound wholesale inventory.
  • Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Maintain daily workload, team goals, morale, and site integrity, including vehicle tracking and facility upkeep.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the automotive industry or a similar field.
  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience with hands-on leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience developing and coaching employees and driving performance through metrics.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, operational analytics, and helping teams exceed goals.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, compliant with company guidelines.
  • Ability to operate a computer and/or tablet.
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively to team members.
  • Ability to work positively and professionally with customers, managers, and coworkers.
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve, and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to frequently stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently drive and work in conditions that may be cold, hot, wet, noisy, or outdoors in varying weather.
  • Ability to be around vehicle fumes or odors from vehicles under maintenance.
  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Pay range of $55,000 to $65,000 annually.
