Description

  • Inspect the quality of body repair and paint work and identify work that does not meet company standards.
  • Communicate quality expectations and feedback to technicians in a positive, collaborative manner.
  • Ensure proper auto body repair techniques and procedures are being followed by team members.
  • Complete vehicle inspections and re-inspections in accordance with auction standards and log results.
  • Photograph, stage, and document vehicles with accurate stock, VIN, model, make, and customer information.
  • Return customer vehicles in clean condition after work is completed.
  • Run inventory reports, print repair orders, and provide technicians with assigned repair orders.
  • Order parts needed for repairs and create repair estimates.
  • Complete work documentation and data entry in computer systems.
  • Report equipment breakdowns, maintenance needs, incidents, injuries, and property damage to management immediately.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of body shop experience; 4 years required for Level II with advanced auto body repair knowledge.
  • Auction knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Well-organized, responsible, and able to multitask and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective employee relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-production environment and maintain quality and quantity of work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments, including exposure to heat, cold, and other weather conditions.
  • Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
