Description

  • Act as Tier 1 support for payroll inquiries through Freshservice and resolve tickets within SLA timelines.
  • Review and audit employee timecards for regular hours, overtime, and leave codes.
  • Load payroll batches and perform the first review of payroll registers to identify variances.
  • Maintain and update ADP Workforce Now for labor law, tax jurisdiction, and employee status changes.
  • Set up and administer garnishments in compliance with US federal and state requirements.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related employee questions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Generate weekly and monthly headcount summaries and audit reports for leadership.
  • Investigate payroll variances to identify root causes and trends.
  • Work collaboratively under pressure to complete high-volume assignments accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of specialized payroll experience handling US-based payroll.
  • Strong understanding of US payroll tax cycles.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now or Kronos/UKG.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience using Freshservice, Zendesk, ServiceNow, or a similar ticketing platform.
  • Ability to work 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PHST to align with US Eastern/Central time zones.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Meticulous organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data professionally.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and handle a high volume of work with speed and accuracy.
  • Background check completion required, including criminal, prior employment, and education verification.
