Description

  • Commission new ventilation and HVAC equipment at customer sites.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace existing HVAC and ventilation systems.
  • Develop and maintain preventive and scheduled service plans.
  • Prepare and submit daily job reports and invoices.
  • Work with customers and collaborate across departments to resolve service issues.
  • Perform field service work in varying outdoor conditions, including roof access and tight spaces.
  • Travel for training opportunities and service assignments, including domestic and international travel when required.
  • Learn Captive-Aire products and procedures through formal training and mentorship.
  • Sell and develop preventive maintenance service for new and existing customers.

Requirements

  • Must speak French and English fluently.
  • HVAC or HVAC/R experience desired.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Ability to read commercial electrical wiring schematics.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
  • Ability to use power tools and hand tools.
  • Must be safety-minded.
  • Comfortable working outdoors, in tight spaces, and using ladders for roof access.
  • Willingness to travel for training and service work, including internal and international travel to the USA.
  • Strong drive, initiative, and a go-getter attitude.
  • Experience in commercial HVAC systems (French posting).

  • Base salary starting at $70,000-$90,000 CAD, negotiable based on experience.
