Description

  • Own the long-term vision and strategy for Identity, Access Management, and Compliance across the CaptivateIQ platform.
  • Translate company, customer, and regulatory needs into a clear, prioritized product roadmap.
  • Anticipate future scale, enterprise, and ecosystem requirements and incorporate them into long-term platform investments.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by understanding customer needs and turning them into high-impact deliverables with measurable business outcomes.
  • Identify platform gaps that could introduce risk or limit enterprise adoption.
  • Advocate for platform consistency, reuse, and developer experience across the company.
  • Improve internal product surfaces, APIs, and tooling that other teams build upon.
  • Set standards and best practices for platform product management across the organization.
  • Lead discovery, definition, and delivery of platform capabilities in partnership with Engineering and Design.
  • Write clear product requirements and manage backlog, sequencing, scope, and delivery quality.
  • Act as a trusted partner to Engineering and collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Support to unblock enterprise deals and drive alignment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with significant time spent on platform, infrastructure, or technical products.
  • Strong technical fluency and comfort partnering with senior engineers on system design and tradeoffs.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in ambiguous or high-risk problem spaces.
  • Track record of delivering durable, scalable platform capabilities in a SaaS environment.
  • Direct experience owning Identity, Access Management, Security, or Compliance-related product areas.
  • Ability to influence technical direction while respecting architectural ownership.
  • Experience working with Engineering, Design, Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Support teams.
  • Must reside near Austin, TX, Raleigh, NC, Nashville, TN, or Toronto, Canada, with hybrid in-office work required in Austin.
  • Preferred/related experience in enterprise platform, security, or compliance products.
