Description

  • Design, build, optimize, and maintain CaptivateIQ's data and core platform functionality.
  • Work across the full product stack to develop and improve product features.
  • Participate in the product development process from project scoping through success measurement and iteration.
  • Maintain high engineering and security standards across the codebase and development processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale.
  • Provide after-hours support through an on-call rotation to resolve critical issues and maintain system uptime.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with both frontend and backend development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Django and React.
  • Experience with a relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Demonstrated ownership of core product areas.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a user-centric focus.
  • Experience making data-driven decisions on product and process.
  • Experience building a positive remote-first culture.
  • Nice to have: proficiency with Python, Django, TypeScript, React, Cypress, and/or Chakra UI.
