Description

  • Support the Head of Benefits and Compensation with project planning, milestone tracking, and stakeholder coordination for team initiatives.
  • Map, document, and standardize current HR workflows.
  • Analyze HR processes to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for automation or improvement.
  • Track employee contributions, reconcile deductions against the payroll register, and document adjustments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Review job duties and map roles to occupational classifications.
  • Manage the benefits inbox and respond to employee questions about compensation, benefits, and payroll, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs to ensure data accuracy and compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain confidential records and organize documentation related to benefits, compensation, and payroll.
  • Monitor state and local employment laws and update processes and policies based on regulatory changes.
  • Maintain HRIS data before each pay cycle, including benefit, equity, job title, address, and bonus information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance standards.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working in HRIS or HCM systems strongly preferred; UKG experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and take on increasing responsibilities over time.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a customer service mindset.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office products.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $67,000 to $79,000 USD.
