Description

  • Design, develop, and productionize machine learning solutions for document understanding, search and Q&A, GenAI, and virtual agents.
  • Develop and maintain backend services in Python for AI-driven applications.
  • Design and implement APIs for integrating AI models and services.
  • Own the full ML model lifecycle, from problem definition and data exploration through feature engineering, training, validation, and deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI models, integrations, deployment, and backend services.
  • Implement telemetry, A/B testing, statistical validation, and automated testing to measure model effectiveness and robustness.
  • Document development processes, system designs, and architectural decisions.
  • Ensure security and compliance of healthcare data in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Adhere to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct and report noncompliance as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience focused on ML solution development and production deployment.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, efficient algorithms, and quality software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI and LangGraph.
  • Experience with voice AI technologies and conversational AI.
  • Experience with Deepgram, PlayHT, or ElevenLabs.
  • Telephony technology experience, such as Twilio, is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience working with microservices or an API-based application architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and logical thinking.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong written communication skills for remote collaboration.
  • Passion for customer experience, innovation, product quality, service excellence, and test engineering.
