Description

  • Lead the development and deployment of solutions from design through production.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, clients, and cross-functional teams to refine and implement requirements.
  • Architect enterprise solutions and enhance product functionality for major clients.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise-grade APIs across internal and partner systems.
  • Build backend applications in Python using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SMS, ECS, Flask, and other cloud technologies.
  • Design and implement scalable systems for high-volume, reliable transaction processing.
  • Apply security best practices across development and deployment activities.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and engineering standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, make architectural decisions, and drive timely software delivery.
  • Represent the development team to stakeholders and communicate technical insights and solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related professional experience with a broad range of technical skills.
  • Strong experience in Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy) and TypeScript (React).
  • Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge, including common table expressions, window functions, views, stored procedures, and indexing techniques.
  • Experience with microservices, API-based application design, and distributed caching techniques.
  • Experience delivering complex web applications to the cloud with infrastructure as code and a security mindset, including AWS and Terraform.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve system scalability and observability.
  • Proficiency in Linux and command-line tools such as Bash, Zsh, Python, and Node.js.
  • Experience with Git code management, preferably in a monorepository.
  • Strong knowledge of unit testing and integration testing, including frameworks like Playwright.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration and client-facing work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
  • Experience in health technology or prior PBM experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a technical lead collecting functional and non-functional requirements, or strong technical product management experience, is a plus.
