Description

  • Lead the application development team in designing, building, and deploying scalable, high-quality software solutions.
  • Manage the software development lifecycle (planning, execution, monitoring) across application development projects.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT staff to translate strategic goals into technical requirements and solution designs.
  • Provide people leadership by mentoring and coaching team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce programming standards, quality assurance practices, and strong code quality and design decisions.
  • Provide architectural guidance and hands-on technical support, including targeted development work and troubleshooting.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies to improve applications and processes.
  • Monitor application performance and implement optimizations, upgrades, and security improvements as needed.
  • Maintain clear documentation for development processes, systems, and integrations and serve as the primary liaison between development, IT, and business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on application development experience with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience managing the full SDLC including planning, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Proficiency with C#, .NET, and related frameworks.
  • Experience with web and mobile application development and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
  • Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF), ADF pipeline development, and SQL Server to support data integration workflows.
  • Experience with Salesforce development and administration (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, security best practices, performance optimization, code review processes, and QA practices.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the company will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Benefits

  • Salary range $118,536–$175,000, with location-based structures: Structure A $118,536–$158,000 (most locations), Structure B $131,707–$165,000 (DC/MD/VA, non-Bay Area CA, Massachusetts), Structure C $144,482–$175,000 (NY, NJ, Bay Area).
  • May be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive.
  • Role is eligible to work remotely.
  • All employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the company will not sponsor work visas.
