Description

  • Own the conceptual design of business applications and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Review and validate supplier technical designs, estimates, and deliverables for business applications.
  • Perform impact analysis for application changes across related system components.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
  • Maintain data integrity, automated reconciliations, and monitoring of data loads.
  • Manage roles and authorization settings within Power BI solutions.
  • Specify and recommend integration and parallel testing criteria.
  • Support implementation activities, including troubleshooting environment issues and providing training as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between Business and IT and support business case development, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and scope planning.
  • Mentor lower-level colleagues and support continuous improvement of application solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience configuring Power BI.
  • Experience with data integration in Power BI.
  • Experience using DAX and SQL Server.
  • Experience working with SAP within Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of business applications and how IT supports business objectives.
  • Experience reviewing technical designs, validating supplier estimates, and performing quality checks on deliverables.
  • Ability to perform impact analysis and estimate rough order of magnitude for new functionality.
  • Experience supporting testing criteria, implementation activities, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Experience working with Power BI Desktop, DAX Studio, and Power Query.
  • Mentoring or coaching experience with lower-level colleagues is preferred.
