Description

  • Conceptualize and design end-to-end business applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models for day-to-day reporting needs.
  • Maintain data integrity, automated reconciliations, monitor data loads, and manage roles & authorizations in Power BI environments.
  • Perform impact analysis of application changes across system components and hold an end-to-end view of integrations.
  • Review and validate detailed technical designs and supplier deliverables, including quality review checks and estimate validation.
  • Estimate Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for effort/cost of new application functionality and validate supplier estimates.
  • Specify and recommend integration and parallel testing criteria; support implementation activities and troubleshoot system/environment issues.
  • Act as liaison between Business and IT, support users in building business cases (cost/benefit, risk, scope, high-level plan), and provide training as required.
  • Mentor lower-level colleagues and provide subject-matter guidance during project delivery.

Requirements

  • Expert-level experience with Power BI Desktop/Service and Power Query (MUST).
  • Expert-level experience with DAX and SQL Server (MUST).
  • Intermediate experience with S/4HANA (MUST) and SAP Data Sphere (Intermediate).
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge.
  • Experience performing impact analysis, ROM estimates, technical design reviews, and supplier estimate validation.
  • Experience specifying integration and testing criteria and supporting implementation/troubleshooting activities.
  • Proven ability to act as liaison between business and IT and to build business cases including cost/benefit and risk assessments.
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues and performing quality review checks on project deliverables.
  • Familiarity with tools such as DAX Studio and Power Query for report development and performance tuning.
