Description

Translate regulatory and statutory plan requirements into internal data reporting requirements.
Develop and prepare new reports and applications using multiple sources of information.
Evaluate reported information for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness.
Maintain and support existing tools and applications used for information analysis.
Collaborate with actuaries, accountants, product managers, and IT teams on data and business requirements.
Prepare internal and external correspondence related to the development and understanding of information.
Research solutions for data quality issues and new report or application development.
Implement process efficiencies and automations.
Assist with cross-training and development of other professional personnel.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in the field, with 4-6 years preferred.
Insurance background is required.
Data reporting experience is strongly preferred.
Fluent English proficiency is required.
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Background in Information Technology or Business is required.
Additional study in Accounting/Audit/Finance, Actuary/Math, Insurance, or Data Management is preferred.
1+ years of project management experience at entry level.
2+ years of experience with data quality checks and balances.
3+ years of experience with data analysis and trending.
2+ years of experience with reporting automation.
Strong analytical skills are required.
Advanced communication and collaboration skills are required.
3+ years of experience with Excel.
3+ years of experience with SQL.
Entry-level experience with SAS EG (1-3 years).
2+ years of experience with PowerPoint.
2+ years of experience with Power BI.
2+ years of experience with Python.
