Description

  • Collect, prepare, and report statistical data for internal and external use.
  • Support technical tools and analytic processes used in property and casualty insurance reporting.
  • Communicate with regulatory affairs, actuaries, accountants, product managers, and IT staff on data and business requirements.
  • Develop and prepare reports using data from multiple information sources.
  • Evaluate reported information for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness.
  • Maintain and support existing tools and applications used in analysis.
  • Maintain and update data dictionary and other metadata-related information.
  • Support new reports, applications, regulatory data calls, and data requests.
  • Promote safety and comply with safety and ergonomic standards.

Requirements

  • Proficient PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Intermediate Excel experience (4-6 years).
  • Intermediate Office Suite experience (4-6 years).
  • Intermediate Power BI experience (4-6 years), preferred.
  • Experience working with data reporting or analytical tools.
  • Ability to work with statistical data in an insurance environment.
  • Strong attention to data quality, including consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness.
