Description

  • Support project managers and product owners with critical analysis for regulatory change projects.
  • Own end-to-end analysis for regulatory reporting initiatives and internal strategic architecture implementations.
  • Elicit requirements from front office, compliance, asset class business managers, and technology teams.
  • Challenge and refine business flows to define optimal and efficient business processes.
  • Produce business requirements for trade and transaction reporting across global regulators and trade repositories.
  • Document the full scope of business requirements and ensure alignment across business, operations, compliance, and IT stakeholders.
  • Work with technical specialists to prepare sign-off-ready documentation that informs technical design and implementation.
  • Provide input into test cases and support defect analysis and resolution.
  • Collaborate with product owners and architecture teams to keep regional deliveries aligned with the global approach.
  • Assess solution gaps and risks, and help define controls, data ownership, exception management, and ongoing maintenance for reporting compliance.

Requirements

  • 7 to 14 years of experience.
  • Strong business writing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and convincingly.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Experience producing both business requirements and functional requirements.
  • Experience acting as a conduit between business and technology teams.
  • Experience in technology roles delivering regulatory trade reporting requirements.
  • Experience working on Agile trade confirmations or trade/transaction reporting programs such as CFTC, HKMA, MAS, ASIC, DFA, or EMIR.
  • Awareness of trade reporting mechanisms such as GTR and FpML.
  • Experience with product-based planning is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Positive can-do attitude and ability to work to strict deadlines.
