Description

  • Lead and nurture client partnerships to support current projects and future business opportunities.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and communicate design, construction, and project issues clearly.
  • Establish early partnering expectations with clients, including stakeholder involvement and decision timing.
  • Ensure effective client and internal communication, including written project documentation.
  • Play a lead role in key meetings and presentations.
  • Participate in business development efforts and support marketing and office leadership.
  • Manage contractual obligations, scope changes, approvals, and client payables.
  • Lead project teams to meet quality, budget, schedule, innovation, and profitability goals.
  • Develop and manage work plans, budgets, and schedules using preferred project planning tools.
  • Oversee the design, documentation, construction implementation, risk management, compliance, and QA/QC processes.
  • Coordinate team workload, provide mentoring and feedback, and support technically sound design solutions.
  • Participate in contract negotiations with project leadership, the business practice leader, and legal team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of related experience, including management of projects with construction budgets of $70M.
  • Current licensure preferred.
  • LEED certification preferred.
  • Ability to manage large or multiple projects and train project managers.
  • Strong client leadership and project team management capability.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and ability to build rapport with project teams and clients.
  • Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam, and other data management software.
