Description

  • Consult with campus partners to review current or new business processes and determine how enterprise applications can support improvement.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including academic departments and administration, to align systems with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement data management strategies for secure and efficient handling of academic and administrative data.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.
  • Protect the stability and integrity of institutional business systems.
  • Evaluate risks to services and applications, develop mitigation plans and recommendations, and facilitate decisions.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents reported by end users for enterprise applications.
  • Provide monitoring, troubleshooting, and management of enterprise applications.
  • Create and maintain documentation, training materials, communications, and testing support for major projects and releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience analyzing business processes.
  • Hands-on experience with the Ellucian Colleague™ ERP system in a higher education environment.
  • Experience with SoftDocs or similar enterprise content management tools such as OnBase, Hyland, or Kuali Build.
  • Strong MIS experience, particularly with database management systems.
  • Ability to create and follow detailed project plans and guide others involved in projects.
  • Ability to document business processes, evaluate process efficiency, and recommend process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to develop innovative ideas with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience opening Ellucian cases and navigating support and escalation processes, as needed, is preferred.
  • Experience with Unidata or Unibasic query language is preferred.
  • Experience with Ellucian Experience and Ethos is preferred.
