Description

  • Review voucher applications for eligibility, completeness, data accuracy, and compliance with program guidelines and policies.
  • Enter and maintain application data in voucher processing systems such as Salesforce and perform daily digital documentation.
  • Communicate status updates, missing-document requests, and next steps to external stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Respond to program email inquiries and support applicants, dealers, and OEMs through the application journey.
  • Troubleshoot voucher discrepancies by speaking directly with stakeholders when needed.
  • Interpret dashboards and reports on application progress, redemption rates, and program metrics.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help design, test, and implement changes to reduce errors and bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with the voucher processing team, CALSTART staff, and external partners to support program success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, environmental science, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative roles, data processing, data entry, or customer service.
  • Experience in grant management or voucher processing programs is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data entry and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working independently with minimal oversight and troubleshooting with available resources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce and other data management systems.
  • Knowledge of the incentive landscape and CARB or other public funding policies is desired but not required.
