Description

  • Lead EPC contractors and owner’s representatives through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and energization through COD.
  • Own the integrated EPC schedule, coordinating design maturity, equipment sourcing, site mobilization, construction, and commissioning.
  • Direct and support onsite construction managers on key projects and maintain clear accountability for field execution and safety.
  • Evaluate execution plans, schedules, sequencing, and constructability to improve delivery certainty and reduce risk.
  • Confirm readiness at each execution phase gate, including engineering release, procurement commitment, mobilization, and commissioning readiness.
  • Manage CAPEX deployment timing, cashflows, and budget adherence across active projects.
  • Administer EPC contracts, milestones, pay applications, change orders, warranties, and closeout activities.
  • Conduct EPC contract reviews and recommend commercial terms aligned with project risk and bankability.
  • Partner with Supply Chain leadership to evaluate procurement strategies, long-lead risks, vendor selection, and logistics.
  • Maintain EPC and vendor performance scorecards, corrective action plans, and continuous-improvement feedback loops.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of experience leading EPC execution for distributed energy projects with multiple CODs delivered.
  • Experience with Solar, BESS, Microgrids, and CHP, especially for high-reliability behind-the-meter customers.
  • Strong experience in EPC contract, cost, schedule, and risk governance.
  • Familiarity with third-party financing and IE requirements.
  • Experience with HSEQ leadership and utility/AHJ coordination.
  • Proficiency with P6 or MS Project, Procore or equivalent, and Salesforce or SiteTracker.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred.
  • PE license is a plus.
