Description

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and document business processes.
  • Analyze monthly revenue by stream to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue reporting.
  • Perform reconciliations for unbilled accruals, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable.
  • Review contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Assist with preparing revenue reporting packages, including flux comments, revenue deep dives, and revenue-related disclosures.
  • Build processes and procedures for revenue and contra-revenue accounting under ASC 606.
  • Support decision-making and resolve revenue-related accounting issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data readiness for month-end accounting.
  • Support US GAAP audits.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, system upgrades, implementations, and other cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
  • 2+ years of total accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606.
  • Knowledge of internal control best practices.
  • Strong written, oral communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid leadership, problem-solving skills, and business acumen.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and succeed with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Exceptional documentation skills with the ability to be clear and concise.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
