Description

  • Develop and lead global tax strategy covering income tax, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, withholding taxes, entity structure, and expansion planning.
  • Manage global tax compliance calendars, filings, transfer pricing documentation, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee external tax advisors, audit partners, statutory audit firms, and local providers.
  • Lead consolidated, statutory, and U.S. benefit plan audit governance, including planning, execution, fees, milestones, findings, and filings.
  • Partner with Accounting and FP&A on tax provisions, cash tax forecasts, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, and reporting.
  • Coordinate audit readiness and statutory account preparation across Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and country teams.
  • Lead acquisition tax diligence, purchase accounting inputs, structure reviews, integration planning, and Day 1 compliance readiness.
  • Design and monitor financial reporting controls, tax controls, documentation standards, and governance processes.
  • Develop and defend transfer pricing policies, intercompany agreements, service fee frameworks, and supporting documentation.
  • Advise business leaders on country entry, cross-border operations, permanent establishment, payroll tax, contracts, and entity rationalization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in tax, audit, controllership, statutory reporting, or financial compliance.
  • Experience with multinational corporate tax, transfer pricing, indirect tax, tax compliance, statutory audits, and external advisor management.
  • CPA, JD, LLM in Tax, Chartered Tax Advisor, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, global expansion, professional services, project-based business models, and audit committee reporting preferred.
  • Experience with management letter remediation, U.S. benefit plan audits, and coordinating external auditors across multiple countries preferred.
