Description

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Salesforce engineers through coaching, feedback, and hands-on guidance.
  • Drive the architectural vision and technical roadmap for the Salesforce platform and integrated GTM applications.
  • Champion AI-native solutions across Ops, CX, GTM systems, and internal workflows to improve efficiency and capabilities.
  • Stay hands-on with technical problem solving, solution design, and code reviews while guiding the team through complex challenges.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, CX, and Operations stakeholders to translate business needs into a prioritized engineering backlog.
  • Align ad hoc requests to broader business strategy and push back on work that is not strategically aligned.
  • Own team operational excellence by managing sprint capacity, removing blockers, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem, including CI/CD, source control, release management, code quality, and governance.
  • Design and oversee complex integrations and automation across GTM systems and third-party applications.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
  • At least 2+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams in a high-growth environment.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and platform APIs.
  • Strong command of Salesforce DevOps best practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise deployment strategies.
  • Experience architecting and building integrations between Salesforce and GTM tools or third-party applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to balance long-term platform health with immediate business needs and prioritize effectively.
  • Passion for leveraging AI to improve team productivity and product outcomes.
  • English fluency, both written and spoken.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II or Application/System Architect are preferred.
  • Experience managing remote or distributed engineering teams is preferred.
  • Experience building Slack applications and integrations is preferred.
  • Previous non-Salesforce software engineering experience is preferred.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work schedule based in the San Francisco office.
  • Minimum of two coordinated in-office days per week, with three days per week required starting February 2, 2026.
  • Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
  • Competitive base salary of $240,000 to $300,000.
  • Equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the total package.
