Description

  • Manage and mentor a team of advertising strategists, providing strategic direction, creative guidance, and professional development.
  • Stay ahead of new platforms, AI tools, reporting techniques, and targeting innovations and prepare the team to adopt effective advances.
  • Act as project manager for multiple high-stakes client campaigns, developing media strategies and targeting plans.
  • Coordinate with creative teams to design and run creative tests and iterate based on results.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data and scale successful tactics.
  • Interface with clients alongside partners to ensure internal execution matches strategic vision and report campaign results.
  • Ensure quality assurance across campaigns, including correct creative implementation, accurate tracking and reporting, budget management, timely invoicing, and coordination with the data team.
  • Evaluate new opportunities, diagnose underperforming campaigns, implement fixes, and document/teach repeatable processes for the team.

Requirements

  • Deep platform expertise with Meta and Google Ads, plus experience with at least one DSP or other programmatic/managed service vendor.
  • Strong comfort with marketing research and statistical analysis to inform strategy and optimization.
  • Experience building, managing, and optimizing media budgets across channels.
  • Demonstrated people-management experience balancing hands-on support with strategic leadership.
  • Proven ability to build performance-driven campaigns that engage target audiences and hit KPIs.
  • Expertise in persuasion advertising, performance advertising, or both, with the ability to teach others.
  • Self-motivated, client-focused, solution-oriented, and a proactive problem solver with a bias toward action and ownership.
  • Experience managing high-stakes client campaigns and delivering measurable results.
  • Ability to work remotely on Eastern Standard Time (agency operates on EST).
