Description

  • Own end-to-end delivery of CGI projects and ensure high-quality final output.
  • Set creative and technical direction for CGI content, including sequence setup, lighting, rendering, and final delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3D artists and CG Team leads.
  • Collaborate with producers and team leads to align on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Allocate team resources across multiple projects to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
  • Oversee asset readiness, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain technical excellence across projects.
  • Explore, propose, and implement new tools, techniques, and workflows to improve CGI efficiency and productivity.
  • Represent CGI work in client meetings by presenting ideas, discussing progress, and defending creative choices.
  • Maintain visual consistency and brand fidelity across all projects.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to support AI learning and adoption across the team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in CGI/3D, including 3-5 years of team management experience.
  • Deep, hands-on CGI expertise across data prep, lighting, compositing, texturing, and animation for stills and motion.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Cinema4D with Octane and 3Ds Max with V-Ray.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.
  • Experience with Adobe Substance Painter and Substance Designer for advanced texturing.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine is desirable; Maya, Blender, Redshift, or other real-time rendering tools are a bonus.
  • Strong creative and technical vision with the ability to set and communicate standards for a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A relevant degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in CGI, Animation, or a related field.
  • A strong showreel showcasing CGI projects, including product visualization and animation.
