Description

  • Craft competitive audits, proposals, and reports for client engagements.
  • Assess client website health, identify errors and opportunities, and execute planned optimization scopes.
  • Perform SEO research and optimization work for projects such as website redesigns, keyword research initiatives, and backlink-focused campaigns.
  • Use SEO tools and platforms such as MarketMuse, SEMRush, Hrefs, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, and GTmetrix to support analysis and execution.
  • Leverage Google Analytics and Google Search Console to inform SEO recommendations and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client-facing stakeholders across multiple projects.
  • Communicate complex search and technical concepts clearly in written and verbal formats.
  • Share SEO learnings and insights with internal and client-facing teams.
  • Support technical SEO tasks related to crawling, indexing, rendering, site migrations, page speed, and core web vitals.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience contributing to or managing SEO programs, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proven success supporting SEO campaigns for medium to large brands, ideally including e-commerce companies.
  • Strong understanding of cross-channel marketing principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of technical SEO concepts, including crawling, indexing, rendering, AMP, site migrations, page speed optimization, and core web vitals.
  • Advanced experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console; Tag Manager and/or Publisher Center is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as they relate to search performance.
  • Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience using standard and enterprise search tools and platforms such as SEMRush, Sistrix, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, and GTMetrix.
  • Ability to meet scheduled and proposed deadlines.
  • Comfort with Google Sheets, Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Google Slides for spreadsheets, presentations, and reports.
  • Prior agency experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with recent SEO developments such as Core Web Vitals, Google Discover, E-A-T, and Rich Results is preferred.
