Description

  • Manage a portfolio of 20-25 mid- to large-scale client accounts across a wide variety of industries.
  • Build rapport with clients, understand their businesses, and serve as a trusted account manager.
  • Consult on, develop, maintain, and execute custom content marketing strategies aligned to client objectives.
  • Research, interpret, and present statistical and ROI reporting to demonstrate strategy performance.
  • Drive client retention and account growth by selling follow-on strategies and creating statements of work.
  • Collaborate with editorial, graphics, video, social media, and web integration teams to bring strategies to life.
  • Work with clients and internal teams to deliver projects that generate strong ROI.
  • Manage multiple initiatives and projects in a fast-paced environment with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Support client growth through commercially informed decision-making and revenue-focused account planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in account management and/or content marketing strategy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the latest content marketing and SEO strategy trends.
  • Experience with content strategy and an understanding of UX best practices for content presentation.
  • Phenomenal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercially savvy with an understanding of how businesses make decisions and generate revenue.
  • Experience with tools and channels such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, web analytics, social media strategy, and digital marketing consulting is preferred.
  • Some travel to visit clients in person may be required.
