Description

  • Participate in business process mapping, including process analysis, design, gap analysis, functional system design, and specifications.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, and provide recommendations.
  • Document engagements through design documents, technical specifications, process documentation, deployment documents, and integration/interface documents.
  • Provide key decision support, monitor issues and risks, and create mitigation plans for clients.
  • Manage full life cycle NetSuite ERP implementations from technical, functional, and organizational change management perspectives.
  • Lead organizational changes and business process improvements with clients.
  • Develop specifications and drive quality, testing, and delivery methodology to support successful transitions and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and minimize project risks, communicate effectively with team members and clients, and serve as a leader to junior consultants.
  • Support remote-first and paperless workplace practices through digital collaboration and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience with NetSuite’s Services Resource Planning (SRP) module.
  • Working knowledge of revenue and project accounting standards such as ASC 606 and how they impact NetSuite.
  • Extensive knowledge of milestone billing.
  • Extensive knowledge of charge-based billing.
  • Knowledge of time entry tied to project records.
  • Extensive knowledge of job costing, work breakdown structure (WBS), project budgeting, and project profit and loss reporting.
  • Experience with project progress-based revenue recognition and sales orders with projects.
  • Deep understanding of project-centric accounting, including fixed fee and T&M billing, revenue recognition, and project profitability tracking.
  • Familiarity with SuiteProjects integrations such as Time & Expense tracking, Resource Planning, and Project Reporting.
  • Experience customizing project templates, workflows, and saved searches/dashboards for project visibility and reporting.
  • Ability to configure and optimize project billing rules and milestone-based billing schedules.
  • Functional knowledge of related NetSuite modules such as Time & Expense, ARM (Advanced Revenue Management), or OpenAir.
  • Experience working with PSA tools and professional services organizations.
  • Nice to have: working knowledge of Deltek.
