Description

  • Own the application end to end across React frontend, Node.js backend, SQL database, APIs, and integrations.
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, reliable application solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations.
  • Make technical decisions that balance scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Contribute hands-on to complex implementation work and guide the development team.
  • Review code and designs for engineering quality, standards adherence, and sound architecture.
  • Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, architectural gaps, and security concerns.
  • Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and other stakeholders throughout delivery.
  • Ensure testing, monitoring, logging, documentation, security, and production readiness.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software development experience, preferably in full-stack application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
  • Experience owning or serving in a key technical role for medium-to-large applications.
  • Experience across the full SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • React expertise in components, Hooks, state management, routing, reusable UI design, API integration, and frontend performance.
  • Node.js expertise in service development, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, authentication/authorization, error handling, and logging.
  • Strong SQL query-writing, relational database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across frontend, backend, database, and integration layers.
  • Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring or guiding engineers.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, automated testing, microservices, security, observability, legacy modernization, or Agile/Scrum is preferred.
