Description

  • Perform autonomy stack installation and configuration on AMRs at factory sites.
  • Integrate and validate hardware components such as LiDARs, safety PLCs, motor drivers, and onboard compute systems.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking and communication systems using ROS-based or equivalent architectures.
  • Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and verify AMR functionality, safety, and performance before shipment.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software integration issues with factory engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and deployment teams to align on system quality and technical requirements.
  • Maintain installation records, FAT reports, issue logs, and technical documentation.
  • Serve as the engineering liaison for partner customization requests and deployment-related technical coordination.
  • Support hardware bring-up, integration testing, simulation, and R&D activities during non-FAT periods.
  • Contribute to engineering change requests and continuous improvement initiatives across robotics systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in AMR, mobile robotics, or industrial automation environments.
  • Strong understanding of robot hardware including motor controllers, encoders, LiDARs, and sensors.
  • Proficiency in Linux, ROS, C++, and Python for robotics software development and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with robot system integration, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with networking and industrial communication protocols such as CAN and Modbus is an advantage.
  • Prior experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, or on-site deployment activities is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, spoken and written, to collaborate effectively with local teams and manufacturing partners in Shenzhen.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to Shenzhen, up to 60% of the time.
