Description

  • Build, maintain, and optimize data models and infrastructure using SQL and dbt.
  • Deliver business reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights using Looker or similar BI tools.
  • Design, analyze, and validate statistical experiments for product and business initiatives.
  • Write efficient SQL queries using joins, aggregates, subqueries, and window functions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and explore data to identify opportunities for growth and product development.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with a designated Product Manager and cross-functional product pod.
  • Make company data accessible, insightful, and actionable across business divisions.

Requirements

  • Experience interpreting data and translating analytical results into business strategies.
  • Proficiency with SQL, including joins, aggregates, subqueries, and window functions.
  • Experience with data modeling and dbt.
  • Experience with Looker or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience designing and analyzing statistical experiments.
  • Undergraduate or higher degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, science, engineering, or social sciences (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of Python libraries such as NumPy, pandas, statsmodels, matplotlib, and seaborn, or R packages such as tidyverse, dplyr, data.table, and ggplot2 (preferred).
  • Ability to work remotely from Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta and attend in-person meetings and team events.
  • Ability to pass a credit and criminal record check as a condition of employment.
