Description

  • Design and develop server-side logic for users, authorization, access management, products, reports, and other modules.
  • Evolve the architecture to support growth in users, traffic, data, and integrations.
  • Ensure reliable payment processing, including retries, repeated requests, errors, and edge cases.
  • Design and optimize database operations, identify bottlenecks, and improve performance.
  • Develop event-driven and analytics components that provide accurate data to Product and Marketing teams.
  • Implement frontend product scenarios using React, Next.js, and APIs.
  • Collaborate with Product on technical solutions, risk assessment, complexity estimation, and hypothesis validation.
  • Improve engineering quality through code reviews, monitoring, security, integration quality, and technical debt management.
  • Participate in architectural decisions shaping the product over the next 1–2 years.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial backend development experience with Node.js and practical NestJS experience.
  • Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
  • Practical understanding of programming principles, software design, SOLID, and GRASP.
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexes, transactions, and query optimization.
  • Experience designing REST APIs and implementing authorization, JWT, sessions, cookies, and secure user-data handling.
  • Understanding of reliable server-side systems, including error handling, retries, concurrency, scaling, and bottleneck identification.
  • Practical React and Next.js experience sufficient to implement frontend product scenarios independently.
  • Understanding of product analytics and experience integrating third-party services.
  • Experience using AI development tools with mandatory verification and understanding of generated code.
  • Experience with high-traffic or high-load systems, payments and subscriptions, caching, queues, CI/CD, Docker, monitoring, cloud infrastructure, or launching products from scratch is preferred.
  • Experience with B2C products and high volumes of paid traffic is preferred.
