Description

  • Design, deploy, and maintain connectivity between on-premises data centers and Azure environments.
  • Provision, configure, and optimize Azure resources for data and AI workloads.
  • Manage and secure hybrid identity governance by aligning Active Directory with Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Manage secrets and enforce network security boundaries that meet Central Bank of Egypt regulations.
  • Standardize deployment processes across cloud and local infrastructure using Terraform or Azure Bicep.
  • Integrate infrastructure deployments into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support DataOps workflows.
  • Architect, test, and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies across local and Azure environments.
  • Monitor hybrid infrastructure and data platforms to maintain visibility, availability, and resilience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of total experience in IT infrastructure or system administration.
  • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Administration within a complex hybrid architecture.
  • Deep, hands-on experience managing on-premises enterprise data centers is non-negotiable.
  • Strong background in VMware or Hyper-V, physical networking, SAN storage, and Windows/Linux server administration.
  • Mandatory prior experience working in a regulated bank or financial institution in Egypt.
  • Understanding of CBE cloud governance, local data residency laws, and audit readiness.
  • Experience connecting cloud services to on-premises data repositories such as SQL Server or Teradata.
  • Knowledge of containerized environments such as AKS or Docker and enterprise data pipelines is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is required.
  • Familiarity with Azure Stack Hub or Azure Arc is preferred.
  • Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) certification is preferred.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills for complex hybrid routing or latency issues.
  • Fluency in English and a proactive mindset.
